Magic Wand Storytelling - Reaching Reluctant Readers

Start with once upon a time and rev up your struggling readers with the power of story. Jan uses her expertise as a Title I reading teacher and storyteller to demonstrate techniques using story to incite reading fluency, comprehension and even decoding in unexpected and engaging ways. What My Tale Told Me - The Trauma and Triumph of Personal Tales

To tell or not to tell, that is the question. Fasten your seat belts. We expect some turbulence as we discuss the trauma of sharing a personal story, as well as, the triumph.
